PYROCOMM SYSTEMS, INC. ACQUIRES REDROCK TECHOLOGIES ASSETS TO BECOME CALIFORNIA’S PREMIER FIRE LIFE SAFETY AND SECURITY SERVICE PROVIDER
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA – [June 20, 2023] – Huntington Beach-based PyroComm Systems, Inc. has announced the acquisition of all assets associated with Irvine-based RedRock Technologies.
With more than 40 years’ experience and offices throughout California, PyroComm Systems is a market leader in the design and installation of Fire Life Safety systems. Along with its purchase of Appley Valley Communications assets in November, 2022, the RedRock acquisition fortifies PyroComm’s leadership position while adding advanced security and emergency communication (ERRCS/DAS) offerings to its portfolio.

Founded in 2002, RedRock Technologies has completed more than 10,000 projects in California spanning commercial, multi-family, education, and life science industries. Significantly, the company is an established leader providing DAS/ERRCS and security systems for companies ranging from Apple, Google, and Tesla to Sheraton, Hyatt, and multiple campuses/facilities within the University of California system.
RedRock co-founders Tom Swanecamp and Randy Jara will take on executive roles at PyroComm to help lead the transition and ensure a smooth integration of company infrastructures. Mr. Swanecamp and Mr. Jara will also advise on restructuring and rebranding the company to focus on the most dynamic sectors of its business, including Fire Life Safety, Public Safety/DAS, Security, and Design/Build opportunities. At the same time, PyroComm will accelerate its investments in “smart” technologies for access control, security, and fire/flood prevention.
